In July I was in the pub across the road from King's Cross with Adam Kohlbeck, who makes EduPulse, killing an hour before my train. We had been talking about something else and he raised an idea - what if there was a place to bring the best education poscasts together? Because it can be so hard to know which to choose and listen to (there are soooo many)
I half agreed at the time. Then I thought about how you found this one. Someone mentioned it, or it went past on a day you happened to be looking. That isn't a system, it's just luck, and I have done very well out of that luck compared to people making better shows than mine.
So five of us have put ours in one place. Education Leaders, Coaching Done Well with Coaching Unpacked, EduPulse, Teaching on Purpose and Beyond the Status Quo. Between them there are 337 episodes. Nobody paid to be in it. Whether five shows pointing at each other actually does anything, we aren't sure yet, but the alternative was carrying on as we were.
We open it on LinkedIn today at 5pm UK time. Midnight where I am. Come and ask the hosts something, or heckle.
There is also one feed carrying every episode from all five shows, which you paste into Apple Podcasts or Overcast or whatever you use. The steps for each app are on the page.
